Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PlayScout ("PlayScout," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you visit our websites, use our mobile games or interact with related services (collectively, the "Services").
The features and providers used by each game may differ. Where required, additional notices or consent choices may be shown inside a game or on its store listing.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Device and technical information: device model, operating system, app version, language, country or region, IP address, network information and device or advertising identifiers where permitted.
- Gameplay and usage information: sessions, level progress, feature interactions, in-game events, crash reports, diagnostics and performance data.
- Advertising and consent information: ad impressions and interactions, attribution data, consent selections and privacy settings.
- Purchase information: product and transaction identifiers, purchase status, restore events and entitlement status. Payment-card information is handled by the relevant app store or payment provider, not by us.
- Communications: information you choose to provide when you contact us for support, business inquiries or privacy requests.
- Website information: standard server logs and security data generated when you visit our website.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services;
- understand gameplay, usage, stability and performance;
- personalize features and, where permitted, advertising;
- measure campaigns, attribution and advertising performance;
- process purchases and restore entitlements;
- respond to support, legal and business inquiries;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents and technical problems; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Legal Bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information based on your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Services. You may withdraw consent at any time, although this does not affect processing completed before withdrawal.
4. Analytics, Advertising and Consent
Our games may use third-party analytics, attribution, advertising, mediation, crash-reporting and purchase management technologies. These providers may receive device identifiers, IP addresses, app activity, purchase status and related signals under their own privacy policies.
Where required by law, we request consent before enabling certain analytics or advertising features. Available controls may include an in-game privacy screen, device advertising settings and platform consent prompts. On iOS, we will request permission through Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework before accessing the advertising identifier when that permission is required.
5. Third-Party Platforms and Services
The Services may interact with app stores, game engines, cloud hosting, analytics, advertising, attribution, customer support and payment providers. This may include Apple App Store and Google Play services, as well as other providers identified in the relevant game, consent flow or store disclosure. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. How We Share Information
We may disclose information:
- to vendors and service providers that help us operate, analyze, secure, monetize and support the Services;
- to advertising and attribution partners where permitted by law and your consent choices;
- when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights or the Services;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets; and
- with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, processing purchases, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the relevant game.
8. International Transfers
Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy of your information, or withdraw consent. You may also control certain collection through device settings, platform settings and in-game privacy controls where available.
To submit a request, email support@playscout.co. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children's Privacy
Unless a game or store listing states otherwise, our Services are not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without any consent required by law. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version at playscout.co/privacy and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice.
